Maintenance of rolling door and rolling door motor

Common faults and solutions

1. The motor does not move or rotate slowly
The cause of this fault is generally caused by circuit breakage, motor burnout, stop button not reset, limit switch action, large load, etc.
Treatment method: check the circuit and connect it; replace the burnt motor; replace the button or press it several times; move the limit switch slider to separate it from the micro switch contact, and adjust the position of the micro switch; check the mechanical part Whether there is jamming, if there is, remove the jamming and clear the obstacles.

2. Control failure
The location and cause of the fault: The contact of the relay (contactor) is stuck, the travel micro switch is invalid or the contact piece is deformed, the slider set screw is loose, and the backing screw is loose so that the backing board is displaced, making the slider or nut It cannot move with the rotation of the screw rod, the transmission gear of the limiter is damaged, and the up and down buttons of the button are stuck.
Treatment method: replace the relay (contactor); replace the micro switch or contact piece; tighten the slider screw and reset the leaning plate; replace the limiter transmission gear; replace the button.

3. The hand zipper does not move
Cause of failure: the endless chain blocks the cross groove; the pawl does not come out of the ratchet; the chain press frame is stuck.
Treatment method: Straighten out the ring chain; adjust the relative position of the ratchet and the pressure chain frame; replace or lubricate the pin shaft.

4. The vibration or noise of the motor is large
Causes of failure: The brake disc is unbalanced or broken; the brake disc is not fastened; the bearing loses oil or fails; the gear meshes not smoothly, loses oil, or is severely worn;
Treatment method: replace the brake disc or re-adjust the balance; tighten the brake disc nut; replace the bearing; repair, lubricate or replace the gear at the output end of the motor shaft; check the motor, and replace it if it is damaged.

The Motor installation and limit adjustment

1. Motor replacement and installation
The motor of the electric rolling shutter door is connected to the drum mandrel by a transmission chain and the motor foot is fixed on the sprocket bracket plate with screws. Before replacing the motor, the shutter door must be lowered to the lowest end or supported by a bracket. This is because one is that the braking of the rolling shutter door is affected by the brake on the motor body. After the motor is removed, the rolling shutter door will automatically slide down without braking; the other is that the transmission chain can be relaxed to facilitate the removal of the chain.
Steps to replace the motor: Mark the motor wiring and remove it, loosen the motor anchor screws and take off the drive chain, and finally remove the motor anchor screws to take out the motor; the installation sequence of the new motor is reversed, but pay attention to the fact that the motor installation After it is completed, the ring-shaped hand chain on the body should naturally go down vertically without jamming.

2. Limit debugging
After the motor is replaced, check that there is no problem with the circuit and mechanical mechanism. There is no obstacle under the rolling door, and no passage is allowed under the door. After confirmation, start the test run and adjust the limit. The limit mechanism of the rolling shutter door is installed on the motor casing, which is called the limit screw sleeve slider type. Before the test machine, the locking screw on the limit mechanism should be loosened first, and then the endless chain should be pulled by hand to make the door curtain about 1 meter above the ground. Whether the functions of stop and lower are sensitive and reliable. If it is normal, you can raise or lower the door curtain to a certain position, then rotate the limit screw sleeve, adjust it to touch the roller of the micro switch, and tighten the locking screw after hearing the "tick" sound. Repeated debugging to make the limit reach the best position, then tighten the locking screw firmly.
Rolling shutter door maintenance standards

(1) Visually check whether the door track and door leaf are deformed or jammed and whether the manual button box is properly locked.
(2) Whether the indication signal of the electric control box of the rolling shutter door is normal and whether the box is in good condition.
(3) Open the button box door, press the up (or down) button, and the rolling door should rise (or fall).
(4) During the rising (or falling) process of the button operation, the operator should pay close attention to whether the rolling door can stop automatically when it rises (or falls) to the end position. If not, it should quickly stop manually, and must wait for the limit device to be repaired (or adjusted) can be re-operated after it is normal.
